Introduction
University of Sharjah Libraries provides collection, services and space that support the information needs of
students, faculty, staff and broader community. The majority of the library collection is available in
electronic format allowing 24/7 access.
The UoS Libraries will re-open in the fall semester 2021, We will expand the on-site service for the university community to offer modified services complying
with the UOS COVID-19 health regulations and physical distancing measures mentioned below all measures have been taken to ensure the safety of everyone at the library

Procedures in general
- The libraries have implemented health and safety precautions including:
- All users will present the 2 doses vaccination record, for not vaccinated students, present to the security negative PCR test valid for 72 hours
- PPEs will be stored at the libraries' entrance and in the admin office if needed more
- Wearing masks by staff and patrons
- Adding wall-mounted hand sanitizers
- Floor stickers to encourage physical distancing
- Based on the number of study space needed, we determined the maximum capacity allowed inside
each library
